In 2004, local foodies proved they’re not only becoming more sophisticated, but more demanding as well. And restaurateurs are taking notice. Never have we awarded such consistently higher ratings in seven years of reviews...

Nothing is as strong as the connection between the carnal and the culinary. They’ve gone hand in hand since Adam and Eve. So, what can be more primal than food and sex? According to Laide -- nothing. But Laide is far more than a delicious den of iniquity that’d make Hugh Hefner blush. With Sam Gassira at the kitchen’s helm, Laide’s food fireworks should attract hardcore foodies. Don’t mistake it for just another salacious lizard lounge; to do so would be a culinary crime. Once past the facade, you’ll sooner be licking your lips than gyrating your hips.
